Explonio is a free library of interactive educational demos. These terms cover the website and its simulations. No account or subscription is required.
Educational purpose and model limitations
Demos are for learning and teaching. They use simplified models, approximations and limited input ranges and may not represent every real-world phenomenon. Please read each demo’s explanations and limitations.
Outputs are not professional assessments or instructions for safety-critical decisions. Independently verify results before practical use. Virtual experiments are not instructions for hazardous real-world experiments, including those involving electricity, heat or light sources.
Using the website
You may use the site for personal study, teaching and classroom demonstrations. Do not disrupt it, bypass security, introduce malicious code or make automated requests at a volume that overloads the service. Please report problems by email.
We recommend that children use demos with a teacher or parent, particularly when following up with a real-world experiment.
Saving work and availability
Experiments may be saved only in a particular browser. Clearing site data, private browsing, changing devices or application updates may result in loss of work. Export important work where the demo supports it.
We aim to keep the site functional and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free simulations. We may change or temporarily restrict the service for maintenance, security or development. This does not exclude rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual property and third-party content
Permission to use the website does not transfer rights to its code, text, illustrations or other content. Copying and redistribution are subject to applicable law, any stated licence or permission from the rights holder.
Third-party libraries, fonts and textures retain their own licences, included with distributed files or the relevant demo. Links to external websites do not mean we control their content or data processing.
Privacy, advertising and changes
See our Privacy policy and Cookie policy. Google advertising is not currently active. Any future ads will be distinguished from site content and will not constitute our endorsement.
The current terms and revision date are published here. Changes do not apply retrospectively. Czech law applies without limiting mandatory protections applicable to the user. Send questions or feedback to 0ndr4N@proton.me.
